→ Salt to taste
→ Red chili powder
→ Bay leaves
→ Ginger garlic paste
→ Mint leaves
→ Green chilies
→ Fennel seeds
→ Turmeric powder
→ Oil and Ghee
→ Lemon juice
♦ Step 1 :
Firstly before starting to wash rice properly.
Take 1 crown of broccoli and separate into pieces and wash.
♦ Step 2 :
Take ginger, garlic (or ginger garlic paste), cilantro, mint leaves, green chilies, fennel seeds, turmeric powder and a pinch of red chili powder.
Put all these ingredients in a grinder and grind well.
♦ Step 3 :
Take a pan and add 1 tablespoon oil or ghee on medium flame.
♦ Step 4:
Add bay leaves and stir for 1 minute.
Add all the grind spices and stir.
Add rice and stir for few minutes.
Further add lemon juice, salt to taste and water.
Let the rice boil properly.
♦ Step 5:
After 10 minutes while boiling rice, add broccoli pieces and let boil.
Check in between and when you find your rice is ready, Add a tablespoon of ghee and, cover the lid of the pan for 10 minutes to get the proper color and taste.
Serve hot with green chutney
